Our registered address is Round Blue Dot, 45 Avril Way, London, E4 9HS What we do: We organise career-focused events, both online and in-person, to connect potential employers in the climate sector with invited job seekers.

5. Accepting or Rejecting Your Application

Our Decision: We'll review your profile and other available information to decide whether to invite you to an event. Our decision is final.

Reasons for Rejection: We may decline your application for reasons including, but not limited to:

Skills mismatch with the event's focus

Limited event capacity
-
Concerns about your eligibility or Terms compliance

6. Tickets
-
E-tickets: If invited, you'll receive an e-ticket by email.

Free for attendees: There is no charge for attendee tickets.

Non-transferable: E-tickets are for your personal use only. Do not share, sell, or copy them.

No Longer Attending?: If you can't attend, please email us at info@roundbluedot.com so we may offer your place to someone else.
7. In-Person Event Rules

E-ticket Required: Bring your e-ticket (digital or printed) and be prepared to show ID for entry.

Code of Conduct: Adhere to our Event Code of Conduct (available on our website). No distribution of promotional materials is allowed.

Security and Instructions: Comply with security procedures and instructions from staff.

Photography/Recording: Respect restrictions in place. If allowed, use photos/recordings for personal use only.

Health and Safety: Follow all health and safety policies.

Breach of Rules: We may refuse entry or remove you from the event for violating these Terms, the Code of Conduct, or for other reasonable causes.
8. Changes and Cancellation

Cancellation, Postponement, Rescheduling: In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel, postpone, or reschedule an event. We will try our best to notify you by email if this happens.
9. Liability

We are not liable for circumstances beyond our control.

We are not liable for your travel, accommodation, or other expenses related to changes or cancellations.

We are not liable for lost or confiscated property at the event.

Disclaimer of Warranties: We make no promises that the event will perfectly suit your needs. We provide the event "as is."
9.4 Limitation on liability: We have no liability to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise for any DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PERSONAL INJURY, ILLNESS, PAIN AND SUFFERING, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOSS OF DATA, AND WHETHER CAUSED BY TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), BREACH OF CONTRACT OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF FORESEEABLE.
If and to the extent that we have any liability to you in connection with these Terms or the Event, our total liability to you (whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, shall be limited to the sum of £50.
The foregoing does not affect any liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
9.5 No warranties: Except as expressly stated in these Terms, we hereby disclaim any representation, warranties or undertakings in relation to the Event. Any representation, condition or warranty which might be implied or incorporated into these Terms by statute, common law or otherwise is excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. In particular, we will not be responsible for ensuring that the Event is suitable for your purposes.
9.6 Indemnification by you: You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless us and our affiliates, licensors and service providers, and our and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your attendance at the Event, including, but not limited to, our reliance on the information you provide to us.

However there are certain exceptions to this, primarily if you are participating in digital/online events where the sharing of contact details is required in order to facilitate contact and follow up conversations. 11. Photographs and Recordings

Our Use: We may photograph/record the event for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to your image being used in these materials.

Third-Party Recordings: The venue or others may also record the event (e.g., security cameras).
12. Intellectual Property Rights

Ownership: We or our partners own all event-related materials (copyrights, trademarks, etc.). You may not use or reproduce them without permission.
13. Other Important Terms

Transfer of Rights: We may subcontract or transfer our responsibilities under these Terms. You may not transfer your rights without our written consent.

Severability: If a court finds any part of these Terms unlawful, the rest remain valid.

Governing Law: English law applies to these Terms, and English & Welsh courts have jurisdiction over any disputes.
